DINING ROOM RUSTIC OAK
I also enjoy this kind of work, going back in time. What was made in earlier times gives me the right inspiration to make such a piece of furniture, solid oak will last and whoever has it at home will be satisfied. Such a dining room is ideal for the countryside. Anyone who eats at this table will feel noble and confident. What sets this table apart from the others is that it is made with enthusiasm and the knowledge that it will serve for many years.
Oak beams gate to the park
The story of oaks from Troubky. A forester from the Czech Republic selected two huge oaks for me. Log length 10m. Weight 3.5 tons. Processing by hand with a saw. I selected them, took them to the border in Moravia and processed them with a friend and then we moved them there. Of course there is a guarantee. During the guarantee period, I let the oaks dry and they will receive the final treatment this year.
Result 40 x 60 x 840 cm oak prism x 2.
Ash table and chairs
The dining set in the picture is original and only one was made. That's how I always do it, every realization is original even if only in a small detail. Two identical products never leave my workshop. Ash wood is one of the most suitable wood species for production. I have dried prisms of various thicknesses from 30mm to 90mm ready in stock. All lumber is made of wood (logs), which I choose and buy directly from the forest by selecting the best trunks. The lumber goes through a process at the end, after which after 24 months.
Prepared for production, the stability of the tabletop is ensured. I carry out the surface treatment exclusively by hand. I chose the proven Czech system Lazurol Topdecor. Despite the trends of foreign brands, this coating in combination with system penetration has proven to be the most resistant to stains and at the same time the most stable for future maintenance. The ash wood underneath remains natural, but perfectly protected.
